Honoring the 107th Birthday of Little Nemo in Slumberland

James Cameron created the movie Avatar from his dream. The sewing needle was invented from a dream. Paul McCartney’s song, “Yesterday” was inspired from a dream.
My dear friend, Joan Gelfand, writes poems inspired from her dreams.

And today we celebrate the 107th birthday of a cartoon that was first published in the New York Herold in 1905. Winsor McCay created the cartoon strip, “Little Nemo in Slumberland” (the predecesor of the orange clownfish that graced the silver screen over a decade ago). It emerged directly from his dream…and today Google is celebrating it’s 107th birthday.

Let’s celebrate all dreams and dreamers today…this includes you!
