Holistic Approach to getting Mosquitoes to Bug off
We love warm weather, particularly when the sun goes down and the temperatures turn wonderfully balmy. But lovely nights often go hand-in-hand with mosquitoes. To chase them off naturally, try lemon eucalyptus oil – dilute it with 3 parts water to one part oil – and spray it around the room and directly on skin – even The New England Journal of Medicine found it to be effective for two hours or more. Mosquitoes already got you? Dab on full-strength lemon eucalyptus oil for relief.
When fresh out of eucalyptus, you can swab on vinegar—white or cider vinegar—to repel the blood suckers. Rubbing skin with the peel of an orange or lemon will deter the winged bite squads, and soybean oil can also drive them skeeters away.
